Annual Reviews

The COH Associate Dean for Academic Affairs oversees implementation of university and college academic policies and procedures for annual performance reviews (APR) and post-tenure reviews. Documents for the current review cycle are posted here.  Information about Annual Performance Review and Post-tenure Review procedures can be found in the University Handbook for Appointed Personnel (UHAP 3.2).

All tenure-eligible and continuing-eligible faculty are on a 3/6 year promotion and tenure review cycle at the University of Arizona. This process requires a less formal yearly promotion and tenure assessment as part of each tenure-eligible faculty member's annual performance review in all years except the third and sixth year. Each college is required to have a written, approved plan for providing college-wide “common elements” for this component of the annual review.
