Ashley Levy awarded the 2015 Hucker Founders Award

Join us in congratulating Ashley Levy, the 2015 recipient of The Hucker Founders Award for Excellence in Chinese Studies. Ashley began learning Chinese in 7th grade, studying the language for six years and taking three trips to China with her school. She chose to continue her studies at the University of Arizona, focusing her East Asian Studies major on the Chinese language. During her sophomore year, Ashley spent a semester at Peking University in Beijing, China. Ashley graduates from the University of Arizona with a double major in East Asian Studies and Global Studies and was inducted into both the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies.
