Virtual Reality Annex
Virtual Reality Object movies are created when objects are photographically captured and turned into interactive computer objects that can be experienced three-dimensionally and shared without the original objects actually being handled. Panorama movies are created when real world spaces are captured photographically and turned into worlds that can be navigated and explored on a computer. The staff and equipment of the VR Annex can help you get started in looking at the world in a whole new perspective.

Web Development & Emerging Technologies (OIA)
The Office of Instruction and Assessment's Web Development & Emerging Technologies Team assists faculty, instructors and TA's in several ways. We invite you to contact us for professionally developed websites that are easy for you update, websites that support your grant projects or research labs, instructional resources that extend student learning, and educational technology consultants with whom you may explore new ideas.

AZ-LIVE - Arizona Laboratory for Immersive Visualization Environments
AZ-LIVE is a room where university researchers, faculty and students can be immersed in a three-dimensional, computer-generated world. The environment combines 3-D computer graphics, stereoscopic projection technology, acoustical tracking devices and four-channel audio to create the illusion of being present in a virtual world. The reconfigurable projection walls allow users to view their virtual worlds in an intimate CAVE-like enclosure, a slightly larger immersive theater or a very large flat vertical display.
