Humanities Week 2010

Humanities Week Fuels Your Passions with Community Lectures

The University of Arizona College of Humanities welcomes the community to a series of presentations by its distinguished faculty and guests, November 15-19, 2010.

Plan to enjoy a range of stimulating topics from the broad spectrum of disciplines offered in the College of Humanities.

Most presentations are free* and take place in the Dorothy Rubel Room of the Helen S. Schafer Building, 1508 E. Helen Street. This building is home to the UA Poetry Center, and is north of Speedway, at the corner of Helen and Vine. Parking is available at cost in the Highland Parking Garage, also at Helen and Vine. After 5:00pm, parking is free at meters on the street and on surface lots in the immediate area.

The Distinguished Lecture, the German film, the Milton Marathon, and UA Reads are the only Humanities Week events not held in the Helen S. Schaefer Building. Check these entries below for exact locations. *The November 18 Distinguished Lecture, a lecture/luncheon at the Arizona Inn, carries a fee. Registration details are in attached PDF.
