The College of Humanities congratulates Wendy Burk, UA Poetry Center Librarian, for recently receiving more than $4200 in a new grant from the National Endowment of the Humanities. This grant is a follow-up to an initial grant awarded in 2013 and will allow her to purchase equipment to preserve the Poetry Center’s renowned collection. This effort will ensure the protection of more than 47,500 volumes of poetry, 27,000 periodicals, 5,000 photographs and nearly 1,000 broadsides.
