"Poetry In the Gardens" Series

Saturday, October 4, 2014 - 3:00am to 4:30am
Tucson Botanical Gardens 2150 N. Alvernon Way Tucson, Arizona  85712

At its core, poetry asks of us, “Who am I, and how do I see myself in the larger context of world?” Docents from Tucson Botanical Gardens and the University of Arizona Poetry Center invite you to explore connections between art, nature, and humanity through informal monthly  poetry discussions. In October, children of all ages and their families are welcome to join us in the Children’s Discovery Garden for fun and playful poems and writing that will bring out the child in all of usDocents leading the discussion will provide participants with a packet of poems. No prior knowledge of poetry is needed, but a pen and notebook are recommended.

Free with Garden’s Admission.

This Saturday's conversation will take place in the Botanical Garden's Children's Discovery Garden.
