Internationally recognized for her discoveries of the science of the mind-body interaction in illness and healing, Dr. Sternberg is the author of the best-selling books Healing Spaces: The Science of Place and Well-Being and The Balance Within: The Science Connecting Health and Emotions. In 2012 she joined the UA as Director of Research at the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine and Professor in the College of Medicine and the College of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture.
