Liliana Charlize Quiroz
2024-25 ASUA Senator for the College of Humanities
"As the representative of the College of Humanities for U of A student government, I advocate for its students and its mission of keeping the humanities alive."
Meet Liliana
When the topic of COH ASUA Senator was introduced to me, I realized how beneficial it is to have a student perspective. The COH is such an amazing college where student input is strongly valued. My objective is to make it so current AND future wildcats can have a clear understanding of the value of humanities outside academia. It is more than just language, literature, and culture studies.
My Initiatives
- High School Outreach Program
With the assistance of COH faculty, I am providing a student perspective in presentations intended to be presented to local high school students. We aim to show students the value of humanities in life, school, and the career world. - Website Projects
After consulting COH ambassadors, COH IT, and COH faculty, we are on the way to more student friendly websites! We aim to provide resources to allow students a clear understanding of academic details, study abroad tips, and more insight into the current COH student body.
