Poetry Reading by Alberto Álvaro Ríos, First Arizona State Poet Laureate

The inaugural Arizona State Poet Laureate, Alberto Álvaro Ríos, reads from his work and talks about the public role of poetry. Representatives from local and state government will say a few celebratory words, and the UA Poetry Center will distribute, as a gift to audience members, a broadside featuring a poem by Ríos, designed and published by New Michigan Press.
