The College of Humanities is one of six institutions participating in the Software Preservation in Libraries and Archives grant. The overall goal is to give librarians, archivists, and curators better methodology for the preservation of digital artifacts and ensuring long-term access to software-dependent cultural heritage.

The UA project centers on the “preservation through use” model of the computer gaming archive.
