The UA Humanities Seminars Program summer courses feature subjects from Hopi archaeology to classical art to Shakespeare and international detective fiction.
Founded in 1984, the university’s premier adult education series has enrolled more than 21,000 community members in 367 classes, in a wide range of subjects, taught by top University of Arizona professors.
The summer schedule continues the Humanities Seminars Program partnership with the Town of Oro Valley, which began hosting courses last summer in the town’s council chambers. All other courses meet in the Dorothy Rubel Room at the UA Poetry Center.
Registration for the seven summer courses begins on March 12. See full course descriptions and video previews here. A new registration process is in place for the summer courses. View a registration tutorial here.
