Selections from the Permanent Collection: Twentieth Century First Editions

When
1 to 11 a.m., Aug. 28 to Sept. 4, 2013

In this exhibit, the Poetry Center Library presents first editions of poetry collections by some of the twentieth century’s most iconic poets. Come and see work by T.S. Eliot, Robert Frost, William Butler Yeats, Marianne Moore, Frank Stanford, and Elizabeth Bishop (among others) in its original published state. Works in this exhibit are drawn primarily from the Poetry Center’s L.R. Benes Rare Book Room, and some are on display for the first time.
