Poetics and Politics Reading: Simon J. Ortiz

The Poetics and Politics of Water, a series curated by the American Indian Studies Program and the Department of English at the UA, presents Simon J. Ortiz, who will read from his work. After the reading there will be a short Q&A session and a book signing.

Simon J. Ortiz—poet, fiction writer, essayist, and storyteller—is a member of the Acoma Pueblo Nation. He is author of Woven Stone, Speaking for the Generations, After and Before the Lightning, Beyond the Reach of Time and Change, from Sand Creek, Out There Somewhere, The Good Rainbow Road, The People Shall Continue, and other books.
