Wednesday, January 11, 2017 - 5:00pm to 6:00pm
UA Poetry Center 1508 E. Helen Street

"The Meursault Investigation" by Kamal Daoud (160 pgs) and "The Stranger" by Camus (123 pgs).  "The Meursault Investigation" is a recounting of Camus' "The Stranger" from the Arab perspective. This year the Closer Look Book Club meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 5 p.m. during the school year for discussion of interesting books, mainly fiction, around the theme Cultural Shifts, New Thinking.  To participate in a Book Club conversation, just read the book and join us on the red couches in the lobby of the Poetry Center.  No sign-up is necessary.  The Club is free and open to the public, and you’re welcome to participate in as many or as few meetings as you like. For more information, contact
