UA Prose Series: Kristen Radtke & Charles Yu

The UA Prose Series, curated by faculty of the Creative Writing Program at the UA, presents prose writers of distinction.

The UA Poetry Center is proud to present Kristen Radtke and Charles Yu, who will read from their work. After the reading, there will be a short Q&A and a book signing. 

Kristen Radtke is a writer and illustrator based in Brooklyn.  Her graphic memoir, Imagine Wanting Only This, is forthcoming from Pantheon Books in April 2017. She is the managing editor of Sarabande Books and the film & video editor of TriQuarterly magazine. She has an MFA from the University of Iowa's Nonfiction Writing Program. Find her on Twitter @kristenradtke.

Charles Yu is the author of three books, including the novel How to Live Safely in a Science Fictional Universe, which was a New York Times Notable Book and named one of the best books of the year by Time magazine. He was nominated for two WGA awards for his work on HBO’s Westworld and has also written for an upcoming show on AMC, Lodge 49. His fiction and non-fiction has been published in a number of publications The New Yorker, The New York Times, Slate and Wired. He is currently on the writing staff for an upcoming HBO show created by Academy-Award winning writer/director Alan Ball.
