Celebrate 100 years of Homecoming with the College of Humanities! Join us as we celebrate our German Studies Department in a day focused on all things German.
As part of the festivities, the College of Humanities will be partnering with the Poetry Center to host a Coffee Cantata and open house. Join us for Starbucks coffee, strudel, and conversation with musical pieces from Bach's "Coffee Cantata." This rare comic opera centers on a father's admonition of his daughter's frequent enjoyment of coffee. Tours of the Poetry Center will include German selections from the L.R. Benes Rare Book Room. This event is free and open to the public.
