Pō é tree: The “Barbaric Yawp” of Walt Whitman

When
3 to 4:30 p.m., Dec. 3, 2016

Pō é tree is a partnership between the University of Arizona Poetry Center and the University of Arizona Campus Arboretum and is held under the trees on the Campus Arboretum in front of Herring Hall. Through partnership, we aim to tap into the power of poetry and provide experiences for campus residents and visitors that nourish appreciation for the natural world.

Pō é tree readings and discussions are held under the trees in front of Herring Hall at 3:00 pm on first Saturdays of the month.  A packet of each month’s readings is provided by docents from the University of Arizona Poetry Center. No previous experience with poetry is necessary.
