At its core, poetry asks of us, “Who am I, and how do I see myself in the larger context of world?” Docents from Tucson Botanical Gardens and the University of Arizona Poetry Center invite you to explore connections between art, nature, and humanity through informal monthly poetry discussions. In November, we’ll meet in the Barrio Garden for another year of poems that evoke memory and celebration for the people and places no longer with us.
Docents leading the discussion will provide participants with a packet of poems. No prior knowledge of poetry is needed, but a pen and notebook are recommended.
Free with Garden’s Admission.
This Saturday's conversation will take place in the Botanical Garden's Barrio Garden.
