The Arizona Daily Wildcat has a great stroy on the Service Learning course offered by the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. 

Since 2014, students have participated in organizations, ranging from education to public health to law, that make a positive impact in the Tucson community. Assistant professor Ana Cornide has supervised more than 130 internships and offered a variety of volunteer opportunities for students.
