All members of the University of Arizona community have a responsibility to uphold and maintain an honest academic environment by following policies and procedures outlined in the Code of Academic Integrity. As a community of scholars, integrity should guide conduct and decisions related to all academic work and all credit bearing classes, including traditional, non-traditional, and online courses.
Faculty Responsibilities
Faculty members and instructors should foster an environment of honesty in their classes and inform students of their course policies related to academic integrity. Faculty and instructors should make every reasonable effort to avoid situations conducive to infractions of the University's Code of Academic Integrity. Faculty can refer to the Faculty Academic Integrity Resources webpage for additional information about how to handle violations in their courses.
