Ambassadors

Ambassadors are student leaders who assist with recruitment and welcome prospective students and families, alumni and community members.

  • Develop leadership, public speaking and communication skills
  • Earn a total of two credits during this year-long internship program
  • Receive an engaged learning notification on your transcript
  • Participate in professional development opportunities

Peer Mentors

Peer Mentors help new students transition to the University of Arizona as well as assist all Humanities students with campus resources and expectations.

  • Build professional connections on campus
  • Develop and strengthen transferrable skills
  • Earn internship units
  • Support students’ academic success

ASUA Senator

The Associated Students of the University of Arizona (ASUA) senate is made up of elected representatives who serve a one-year term. Senators work on behalf of the student body to address key issues, gather feedback, and implement initiatives that improve student life. They are responsible for:

  • Passing policies
  • Supporting campus programs
  • Ensuring student concerns are heard by the university administration
  • Managing specific projects or areas of focus
