Each year the College of Humanities is pleased to offer scholarships to deserving students enrolled in disciplines across the College. These scholarships have been made possible by the generosity of alumni and donors who have demonstrated a long-standing interest in education and the Humanities.
Students can apply for scholarships on Scholarship Universe, a service provided by the UA Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA) where University of Arizona students can get matched and apply for scholarships. Students will get matched based on their profiles to available COH Scholarships and other scholarships they may be eligible for. Each scholarship may be found by searching for the scholarship name using the search feature in the top left corner of SU:
Required application materials typically include:
- A personal statement.
- A list of any honors, extracurricular or volunteer activities.
- One letter of recommendation (uploaded by the recommender). Students are encouraged to apply well in advance so that the person writing the recommendation has ample time to provide their letter. If a recommendation letter is not uploaded to the system by the deadline, the application will not be eligible for consideration.
