Whitman Circle Summer Social: Standing with Saguaros featuring Kimi Eisele

When
5:30 to 7 p.m., June 22, 2016

How do performances with, about, and for other species  reveal about how we view those species, and ourselves? How might  performances  expand our notions of community,  inspiring us to be better stewards of the places we inhabit?

Join us for a Whitman Circle summer social featuring Tucson artist and writer Kimi Eisele in a happy hour conversation about her National Endowment for the Arts-funded "Standing with Saguaros" project, presented by Borderlands Theater.  This Whitman Circle Summer Social event takes place in the Copper Room at Hotel Congress.   Event will feature complimentary snacks and a cash bar; doors at 5:30, program at 6pm.  The Poetry Center is committed to programming that is accessible to all.  Please contact us with questions or concerns: 520-626-3765.
