The Vice Dean for Academic Affairs provides oversight for the Annual Performance Review (APR) process within the College of Humanities. Documents for the current review cycle are posted here to help provide guidance about upcoming deadlines, criteria, and general procedures. Additionally, each department/program administers its own unit-specific procedures in accordance with college and university guidelines. Information about university procedures can be found in the University Handbook for Appointed Personnel (UHAP 3.2).
Additionally, Annual Performance Reviews serve as an important tool for discussing all tenure-eligible faculty members' goals, performance, and progress toward promotion and tenure. The annual process requires a less formal yearly promotion and tenure assessment as part of each tenure-eligible faculty member's annual performance review in all years except the third and sixth year. Please refer to the COH Common Elements document for information related to faculty who are on this cycle.
