“How Pedro Almodóvar Conquered Hollywood”
 
Join Dr. Malcolm Compitello, Head of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, for a lively discussion about the evolution of the work of Spanish film director Pedro Almodóvar. Learn how this quirky, self-taught devotee of cinema went from underground filmmaker to global film icon. This presentation is part of the UA Alumni Association's Homecoming Collegiate and Campus Showcase. A tent will be set up near the UA stage for this presentation. Please note that the UA stage has been moved and will be located east of the cactus garden, south of Modern Languages.
