Spring 2020 Workshops

Based on responses to a Fall 2019 survey, the College of Humanities offered a line-up of faculty-selected workshops on topics often assumed to be common knowledge within the professoriate. The first five sessions—each 90 minutes long—provided faculty with an informative and accessible opportunity to learn a variety of academic skills and principles that are routinely deployed but rarely taught. Session leaders included internal UA representatives who shared their experiences and best practices. The presentations from each workshop are provided below. Recordings are also available for a number of sessions. To promote an open and safe environment for participants to speak about their experiences, some recordings are not available.
